Corrections & Retractions

Corrections & Retractions

Jurnal Ternak – Universitas Islam Lamongan (UNISLA) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. The journal follows the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in addressing errors, research misconduct, and concerns identified after publication.

Corrections Policy

Corrections may be issued when errors are identified in published articles that do not significantly affect the validity of the research findings or conclusions. These may include errors in author information, data presentation, figures, tables, or references. All significant corrections will be clearly documented and linked to the original article.

Retractions Policy

Articles may be retracted when serious errors or ethical violations compromise the reliability of the research. Reasons for retraction may include plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or major methodological errors.

Retraction notices will clearly explain the reasons for retraction and remain publicly accessible. Retracted articles will normally remain available in the journal archives but will be clearly marked as "Retracted" to maintain transparency.

Expressions of Concern

Jurnal Ternak may issue an Expression of Concern when significant questions arise regarding the integrity of a published article but sufficient evidence is not yet available to determine whether correction or retraction is necessary.

Editorial Responsibilities

The editorial team will investigate reported concerns fairly, objectively, and confidentially. Authors will be given an opportunity to provide explanations or supporting evidence before an editorial decision is made.

Publication Ethics

Jurnal Ternak adheres to COPE guidelines to ensure that corrections, retractions, and other post-publication actions are handled transparently and responsibly. These procedures aim to preserve scientific integrity and maintain public trust in published research.
