Complaints & Appeals

Complaints & Appeals

Jurnal Ternak – Universitas Islam Lamongan (UNISLA) is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and accountability in the editorial and publication process. The journal welcomes complaints and appeals concerning editorial decisions, peer-review procedures, publication ethics, and other matters related to scholarly publishing.

Complaints Policy

Authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders may submit complaints regarding editorial misconduct, unfair peer-review practices, publication ethics violations, or procedural irregularities. All complaints must be submitted in writing to the editorial office with a clear explanation and supporting evidence.

Complaints Handling Procedure

The editorial team will review all complaints objectively, confidentially, and impartially. Complaints will be investigated based on their nature and seriousness. Individuals involved in the complaint or having a conflict of interest will not participate in its assessment. Appropriate corrective actions will be taken when necessary.

Appeals Against Editorial Decisions

Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions, including manuscript rejection, if they believe that an error, misunderstanding, or procedural irregularity has occurred. Appeals must include a clear justification supported by relevant scientific evidence.

The Editor-in-Chief or an independent editor will evaluate the appeal fairly. Following reconsideration, the editorial decision will be communicated to the author. Disagreement with an editorial decision alone does not guarantee reconsideration or acceptance.

Confidentiality and Fairness

All complaints and appeals will be handled confidentially and without discrimination. Jurnal Ternak is committed to protecting the rights of all parties involved and ensuring that complaints are resolved fairly and professionally.

Editorial Policy

Jurnal Ternak follows the ethical principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in addressing complaints, appeals, and publication-related disputes.

The journal strives to maintain the integrity, credibility, and quality of scientific publications through a transparent and responsible editorial process.
