Authorship & Contributions

Authorship & Contributions

Jurnal Ternak is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity in scientific authorship. All authors must have made significant intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.

Authorship Criteria

Following the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), authors must substantially contribute to the research design, data collection, analysis, or interpretation; participate in drafting or critically revising the manuscript; approve the final version; and accept responsibility for the integrity of the published work.

Author Contributions

Jurnal Ternak encourages authors to specify their contributions using the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT), including conceptualization, methodology, investigation, data analysis, data curation, writing, review and editing, supervision, and funding acquisition.

Corresponding Author Responsibilities

The corresponding author is responsible for manuscript submission, communication with the editorial team, ensuring all authors approve the final manuscript, and confirming the accuracy of authorship information.

Authorship Changes and Ethics

Any changes to authorship must be approved by all affected authors and the editorial team. Guest, honorary, gift, and ghost authorship are strictly prohibited. Individuals who contribute but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.

Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Any use of AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation must be disclosed, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and originality of their work.

Author Contribution Statement

Authors are encouraged to provide a clear contribution statement in their manuscripts.
